Hi allI have a server that is a file and print server - the problem i have is that my var partion was full todayin /var/spool/samba i had 785 files of 500 megs most of the printing is coming from windows machines via samba -cupsi am using cups 1.1.14 and samba 2.23anow this seems to be a samba problem not deleteing the print files after they are spooled - because cups is set to keep only the last 2 printed and there is only 2 files in that directory (/var/spool/cups)the relevent section in smb.conf isprinting = cupsprintcap = cupsload printers = yes[printers] path = /var/spool/samba writable = yes comment = All Printers printable = yesis there config in samba i can use to clean up these files automatily or do i need to run a cron job every night to do this ?Regards Phil Workman -------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, email wailug-request at linux.net.nz with "unsubscribe" in the body of the message.
