Hi all I have a computer setup with debian - (network install) this computer is not on the net yet ( too slow) - my neighbour has jetstream - and will download stuff for me from nz mirror (nix nada) i have copyied the cd files on a computer my apt config is deb file:/mnt/debian/ stable main contrib ( is works ok but should i add anything else) can i use apt to install a down loaded .deb from another directory ? i will keep reading - but there must be an easy way to do this ??
