Hi all
I have a computer setup with debian - (network install)
this computer is not on the net yet ( too slow)
 - my neighbour has jetstream - and will download stuff for me from
nz mirror (nix nada)
i have copyied the cd files on a computer
my apt config is
deb file:/mnt/debian/ stable main contrib

( is works ok but should i add anything else)

can i use apt to install a down loaded .deb from another directory ?
i will keep reading - but there must be an easy way to do this ??
TIA

looking forward to nic notes from the last meeting ( when he gets
better & has time )

Regards
