Subject: [plug] PLUG Presentation/Library Computer
Message-ID: <4AC85C71.4020703@orcon.net.nz>
Hey folks. The presentation computer that was donated/combo library
computer is all set to go. I haven't configured wireless on it yet, but
works fine across regular old network cabling. On it is Apache2 for an
HTTP server and ProFTPD for an FTP instance. Username is plug, password
is plug. When you power it up it should auto-logon to the desktop for
ease of use so no worries there. The previously mentioned username/pass
combo is also for the FTP. In such is a directory called Library. I've
already started it by adding in my current disk images for various
distros and FOSS utility LiveCDs. Feel free to add more! Has all the
usual stuff installed. Firefox, OpenOffice etc.
Also, for the meeting, I won't be there. Someone will have to collect
the machine from my residence, preferrably tomorrow Monday 5 October as
Tuesday I'm on a plane to the land of the JAFA for a few days to sort
some nonsense out up there. Gimme an email/phonecall on 3546999/0220
TUNA IT any time after about 3pm tomorrow if you can help.
Oh yeah, it's running the new Ubuntu 9.10 beta. Holy mother it's slick!
Cheers
