[nzlug] Firefox 3: Smart URL Handling... how to turn off?

Hey Guys

Humming along on my recently installed Ubuntu 8.04 box.
Firefox 3 Beta 5 is the current browser.

The new feature for the URL bar when entering addresses - autopopulating 
based on bookmarks or wildcard search entries - is actually kinda 
annoying. Yes, its a nice widget, but I dont know if I want every aspect 
of every url I enter sent through to a search engine for processing as I 
enter it (!).

I wouldnt mind reverting to 'classic' behavior (perhaps where it autofills 
on history, and perhaps bookmarks, but not on search results) - anyone 
know if this is possible?

I've had a nosey through about:config and there's a bunch of stuff under 
browser.urlbar which I was looking through but nothing really seemed 
exactly right.
