Ahh, dammit.  This sounds like exactly the problem I'm experiencing when 
trying to do the same thing with my DG632.

I've just got to the point of being so sick of pin holing the same port 
in two locations (the DSL router, and in IPTables) that I just tried to 
move to the 'modem' mode and encountered the problem you describe.


I was trying to work out how on earth it was possible to give out a 
gateway outside the network you're connected to.

Are there any other ways around it other than your patch?
