[nzlug] OT: ihug problems today???

Shame, they used to be great. Last year I had a problem with my router, and
they answered quickly and with impressive network nous.

Maybe they are going the same way as Xtra's helpdesk, which recently took
over ten minutes for nothing more complicated than a user id and password.
The problem was purely the standard of English, thank goodness - I wouldn't
have wanted to consult them about anything as complicated as plugging a
keyboard in.

My last call to the ihug helpdesk was yesterday ... greeted with
> Vodafone's message of "around 35 minutes wait time" and gave up.
