I second that. Actually there is (or was) a fluxbuntu distro which I 
tried about 2 months ago. It was passable, but a bit rough, and fell 
down on creating a useable menu sytem, in particular. I tried AntiX and 
found it OK, setting up a very good menu system, although additional 
programmes didn't always automatically appear on the menu. The problem I 
struck was in updating - I got a message saying that the updates could 
not be validated. Their website gave a explanation and way of dealing 
with it, but it looked a bit tricky, so I didn't follow it. I have gone 
back to Kubuntu for the meantime.
I suggest you try AntiX or else Ubuntu server and look at follow Peter's 
suggestion to see how AntiX does menus.
