[nzlug] fluxbox goodness

Hi,

I've been using fluxbox on a laptop recently and decided that I'm
going to try and create an Ubuntu image which contains only what I
need to use this laptop. I.e. no gnome, no kde. Fluxbox, abiword,
epiphany etc.

I'm wondering, does anyone know the name of the package that generates
the menus for you?

I came across a gentoo site that fluxbox-generate_menu to generate
menus and menumaker to edit the menu. However, neither of these
utilities seem to be in the repositories. I've got end users in mind
so I would really love to be able having to edit the menus via text
editor if possible.

This is kind of my test run for creating a OEM type install for a
specific machine just to prove that I can. I've been thinking about
the whole Acer laptop situation and thinking it'd be very cool
starting a company that offers to build OEM images of Ubuntu to the
likes of Acer or HP or whatever. At the risk of getting into a distro
war, I'm thinking Ubuntu because it's free. There isn't really a
commercial version of Ubuntu (as is the case with Novell Suse and
Redhat etc.) and I'm getting to know it pretty well.

Regards,
Nevyn.
