That "minority" includes Microsofties with a clue, Cupertino fans, and
tux lovers. The last 2 groups are getting steadily bigger I understand.
And "for everyone else it's a PITA" doesn't say how big the "everyone
else" is, so my statement is still true ;)

No. It installs on computers controlled by The Imperium(TM). These
computers are easily online 24/7 (and easily not spyware-proof). No idea
how much it costs.

Kiwibank had online "inquire-only" access 5 years ago so it's not just
an "interesting concept". Can't remember about BNZ.

I guess that's only fair, afterall I do likewise. If the bank isn't
Linux-capable it goes West. We as Linux-users need to play as much
weight as we can. That was the point of the thread in the first place,
wasn't it?
