This is why I have come to laugh at people who claim private business is
always better than government.

Private businesses aren't as transparent or interesting to us when
functionaries within them "p*ss millions up the wall to guarantee next
year's budget."

It only become relevant if the business concerned falls over because of it.

Waste happens everywhere and it is usually because the incentives to not be
wasteful are wrong....or so complex and conflicting the targets ignore them.
