I see that acer mics are notorious, in windows too, for being too quiet.
Have you located the physical microphone - acer like to put them on the
back? Have you tried an external mic?

Complaining to DSE is very good, because they can complain to ACER much
louder than you can. Providing HW that doesn't work as advertised is Not
On.
