Thanks for that - it looks quite involved compared to what is in the
patent. As far as I can tell, the patent seems to be claiming an
innovation based on bringing a lot of tools together. But it claims "a
method".

In particular - labelling the timetrack in units of time rather than by
frame-number, seems important.

Nevertheless... I've included both references and sent of the analysis.

Curiously - most of the patents can be summarised by referring to an
existing product or process...  the xmlss ones refer to online
spreadsheets. This limits the patent to those online spreadsheets that
use xmlss... which rules out all the FOSS ones.

Another covers automated network auditing (what HW is connected), and
another is a file index used with a search engine (intended for use on a
LAN).

They all go well out of their way to avoid clear language.
