This may be the XML format for Office 2003, which is MS XML but not OOXML?

OOo opens OOXML (hearsay), but the reports we get from BIRT seem to be some
earlier Excel-XML format which OOo doesn't quite get, which I guess must be
that format. (Thanks, now I have a keyword to continue my hunt.)
