But did you happen to notice if the eee will boot from a usb-stick or a
usb HDD? If so, then the eee would seem to be the much preferred option.
(If this was mentioned online, I missed it...)

That is not mentioning the OSs... ;)

I had *hoped* that the point would be to avoid single-metric
comparisons.

Perhaps it would be worth running down comparisons of these things...

These are each built with a slightly different market in mind. decTOP
and fitPC look more like experimental. Would there be an interest in a
comparison? Is there an ultra-small desk/laptop I missed?
