Ahah - that would explain a lot.
And having samba boxes behave <del>intellegently</del> differently is
probably a good idea.

Now I have something to work with... the home network does have one box
which is on most of the time... I can fix that as a browse master via
SWAT IIRC. Turn the others off... except one can be ambiguous... since
I'll need one for this course thing.

All this wauld also argue for bringing the clients up one at a time...
