Well... I recommend sendmail and courier, and I use roundcube for my webmail service. Sendmail because I've invested 10+ years into maintaining it and have got the hang of it, courier because I tried it and it "just works" ( must admit I've dropped pop3 support and now only use imap/s access but only for sysadminny backup reasons ) and I like what the roundcube guys are coming up with - looks so much nicer than squirrelmail!

Maybe a hard solution, but I got paid to master it all ( lets be honest, *anything* is better than qmail! ), and it's proved both indestructable ( well the roundcube stuff was a bit ropey for a while ) and extremely flexible over the last 3 years or so that it's stayed in this configuration.

Steve.
