Yes because postfix is better than Exim (IMHO and yes flame away)

Edit /etc/aliases 

where you have root make it go:

root:		emailaddress at ofyourisp.tld.nz

run newaliases

any message delivered to root at localhost/whateverhostnameis should then
get sent to your ISP e-mail address.

make sure that you have firewalled 25 off from the outside world (just a
precaution) 

If you dpkg-reconfigure postfix  you can set it to be a satellite server
or something and use your ISP as a "smart host" that way internally you
can submit messages to your mail server, and it will then send those
messages on to your ISP.

but that's just my thoughts...
