Thanks for the pointer.

There is an Xorg.0.log and an Xorg.0.log.old.

The difference between the two is in the bottom coupla lines, where '.old'
contains this:

(--) Configured Mouse: PnP-detected protocol: "ExplorerPS/2"
(II) Configured Mouse: ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded
(II) intel(0): Setting dot clock to 108.0 MHz [ 0x10 0x2 0x20 ] [ 18 4 2 ]
(II) intel(0): chose watermark 0x22210000: (tab.freq 108.0)
SetClientVersion: 0 9
SetGrabKeysState - disabled
SetGrabKeysState - enabled
(II) intel(0): [drm] removed 1 reserved context for kernel
(II) intel(0): [drm] unmapping 8192 bytes of SAREA 0xe0b7a000 at
0xb7f87000
(II) intel(0): [drm] Closed DRM master.
(WW) intel(0): xf86UnMapVidMem: cannot find region for
[0xb3953000,0x3000000]

Compared to simply .0.log which contains this and stops:

(--) Configured Mouse: PnP-detected protocol: "ExplorerPS/2"
(II) Configured Mouse: ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded

Shrug.
Problem seems to have gone away for the moment.
Interesting the log file doesnt date/timestamp the individual lines so
it's hard to tell exactly what went when.

Cheers for the info...

Mark.
