Even if they had the ability for providing local LUG information to people, it
could be useful. Especially if one or two people at the LUG had access to a
machine so they knew what they're talking about.

Well that's a turn about for the books. The standard is that when you go to
demo something, it *won't* work!

It goes a good way to explaining why some things seem so damn hard to get
working right. The main points are "manufacturers hate you" and "they can't
get it right, even when there's a specification".
