Thanks, Nick. I should say I know all these issues....and I could "adjust"
for the various reasons why Linux has these problems...and spend hours that
an real geek would be happy to spend sorting them all.
I've done my time, though. I'd much rather buy an ASUS eeePC with the wee
linux on it where everything just works.....including the wireless and the
video camera....and probably will.
I understand about Broadcom. It's annoying. When the revolution comes, they
will see bricks. At least I could get the firmware if I had a machine to do
the full install on.
