+1 both on Unison and the stability through not-constantly-changing protocols
Unison rocks pretty much, especially as it's cross-platform, VERY stable and
reliable, secure (through an SSH tunnel) and very performant (rsync like,
multi-threaded syncs, even quick over dial-up)
