I always understood that we (the consumer) _did_ have the right to make
copies for fair dealing, backup, educational use, and timeshifting.

I wonder what magical software they expect will be written that is going to
know when copies are being made for legal uses, and still prevent copies
being made for illegal uses.

Or are they simply going to 'clarify' that we no longer have the right to
make copies for fair dealing, etc..
