You like living dangerously, don't you? 8-))
(No I'm not talking about running Debian, I'm talking about raising the
subject of 'favourite distro' on a Linux list :)
I'm running Debian Etch too. Used to run Red Hat up till about 9.0 when I
switched to Debian Woody. I've also had success with DSL. Every time I
try to install a Ubuntu it crashes. Half the Knoppixes I've tried have
crashed as well. Back in the days when Mandrake was said to be the 'easiest
Linux', every Mandrake I tried crashed on installation too. I don't know
what it is about me and 'easy-to-use' flavours of Linux but we seem to be
mutually incompatible. OTOH, I find Debian very easy to use and it gets
easier to install with each version. (That's probably pushing my luck,
saying that - just wait till my next install.... )
