Definitely Ubuntu (and mythbuntu on my media center). It supporta my
web cam, wireless card, and ivtv card out of the box, something that
Debian never did (mainly because it would have violated the DFSG). The
only issue I had with setup was installing the ATI drivers, but that
would have occurred on any setup. I have the solution within a minute
of googling.

Since ALSA sound drivers are in the kernel now, I would assume that
all distros would support the same set of sound devices.

The Ubuntu Community Wiki is unlike no other (except maybe WLUGs wiki :-)
