[nzlug] Grannix? Looking for a simple distro with Icon based menu like eeePC

Maybe a silly suggestion, but Xubuntu (or almost any distro/wm with a
desktop), turn off all the panels, or vast majority. Stick icons to all the
aps you want on the desktop. Done, You can also chmod the desktop icons to
be read-execute only
