[nzlug] [OT] Which Wiki?

Hi,
I have been asked what Wiki software I would recommend for a small
non-profit organisation. Unfortunately I don't actually know much about
Wikis, other than Wikipedia uses MediaWiki which doesn't seem too bad.
I have read the FAQ and installation instructions at MediaWiki's site, and
it seems like it might be just the thing. Can anyone comment on the traps
and pitfalls I am likely to encounter when setting up a Wiki for the first
time? There are several unknowns, such as: the Wiki would be hosted by a
third party (some hosting provider somewhere) so it's dependent in some
way on what they offer; the number of visitors (and potential
contributors) is unknown, but probably small; the amount of content which
will be migrated from the existing site to the Wiki is small, but if the
site is popular then this will grow as people contribute.
I suppose I am looking for the article 'Things That Are Obvious To Me Now
After Choosing And Installing Wiki Software'.
Comments are welcome, on- or off-list. If off-list I will summarise back
to the list.
Thanks,
Andrew
