Hi Mark,
Sounds like a really good idea. I will keep your suggestion very handy,
as I will be following that route, if the recompile of the vmware tools
doesn't fix things. At the moment, it seems very likely that the vmxnet
driver is causing the issue, as it is a newer version than the Vmware
server itself.
Thanks for your input, I will persevere with MAC address matching as it
will no doubt be of use later on.
