RE: the legal and moral ramifications of MS EULA violations:

I'm not a zealot of any particular shade, but MS are convicted 
monopolists and they actively fund attacks on Open Source, upon which my 
livelihood depends. They've also actively lobbied for software patents 
in the EU and there's this whole "Palladium" situation that seems to be 
circling and waiting etc... though it's failed to materialise thus far.

I'm not saying it's moral to steal from criminals, but this is closer to 
war - in a never-getting-off-the-sofa sort of way.
