Basically:
Vmware player is just that. It "plays" images.
Vmware Workstation is feature packed with things like multiple
snapshots and cloning. Runs on your desktop PC.
Vmware Server is great if you want to run vmware on a server like
machine. It uses a "console" to connect to the vm. So it's a bit like
X. You're communicating it indirectly unlike Vmware Workstation. Thus,
it doesn't support OpenGL.
