Well, I'd really hate the hassle to just install the workstation trial for 
that, scratch it off, and continue playing with the VMware player. Just go 
and "create" your blank image through the EasyVmx [1] web site, launch it in 
the player, and install your stuff. Don't even need to bother switching 
back'n'forth anymore then.

If it's gotta be VMware, I'd take that route.
