I think any virtualisation program aimed at the desktop will work. vmware or 
virtualbox. I the cad program requires OpenGL or DirectX, that might cause

It's hard to say, but I suspect yes. You may have to tweak some options to get 
it

2k or XP. You probably can't buy 2k, and maybe can't buy XP. But even if you 
get a hand-me-down license from someone who's upgraded to Linux, try to avoid 
Vista. It's the Windows ME of the current generation.

It's possible. The only way to be sure is to give it a go, there's nothing 
recent on the Wine appdb. Some programs work well with wine, others less so. 
All I use it for these days is playing Halflife 2 :)
