I wouldn't say this is recommended.


If you absolutely want to dual boot using a fakeraid controller, your
best bet is use a fakeraid controller that is supported via a kernel
module in linux. I haven't bothered with this in a long time, so I'm not
going to venture any opinions about how practical it is.

The Ubuntu / Fakeraid howto I posted earlier
(https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FakeRaidHowto) discusses booting,
installing, and even touches on dualbooting from fakeraid. It focusses
on a via fakeraid controller, but assuming there's linux support for
nvidia fakeraid, then it'll be more or less the same, just with
different device names.
