You don't mention what sort or RAID you're using - if you're wanting to
set up software RAID 1 (which I recommend), you'll need to use the
"alternative" install disk, as it supports creating the RAID array as
part of the install process... You may also want to write Grub to both
disks, to ensure that if either one fails, the other knows how to boot.
You'll have to set the root device to one drive and then the other,
running update-grub each time.
If you're using hardware RAID (e.g. a 3ware controller), then you
shouldn't have any issues with Grub unless the driver required for the
RAID controller isn't included in your initrd image... If that's the
case, there are ways to get it into the initrd, but it's a bit too
complicated to describe in a quick email :) A reinstall is one way to
address it - try the alternative install disc image...
