Yeah, I'm seriously looking at dropping Ubuntu, in favour of something less, 
dare I say it, bloated.
Ive also moaned a lot about KDE, I have Feisty on a desktop and Im getting put 
off by its.. childlike looks.  Having said that I havent yet found any 
combination I like (Distro + Desktop Environment).

Also my graphics is  ATI and the drivers for that are uptodate.
