[nzlug] new printer - 1st day fun

I have just picked up an hp deskjet f4185, cute little boxy thing, for
$99 at DSE. The printer part works out of the box and very nice it is
too.

The scanner is not acquired by sane (but I've discovered that sane
thinks my web-cam is a scanner and happily captures images off it!) I've
yet to try the cli tools for troubleshooting this... yet. However, hp
have excellent linux support so I'm optimistic - certainly, I have seen
only positive reviews of this product re. gnu/linux.

On another front - the upgrade manager (Ubuntu 7.04) hangs when it tries
to upgrade the distro. I see there are bugs about this already - so I'll
wait a bit.
