Not sure if this is suitable for Linux, but I have a old DEC box, a 3000 
I think, with a few expansion cases for drives etc.

Does anybody know how to use a old DEC 3000, and actually posses the 
inclination to do so?  The cost is pretty low, consisting mostly of 
assistance in scrubbing the disks in said unit (the alternative involves 
me, the disk drives and a power drill).

Can't give more detail on amounts of RAM or drivespace, is a while since 
I last did any admin-type services on it.  Expect it is smallish by 
modern standards.
