We've just set up a proxy server for that purpose here at Massey on a box, so
that we need to haul the stuff only once across the WAN.
We've used approx, as we've had some issues with others (apt-proxy) before.
But that doesn't mean, we don't have any problems with approx, either. I
guess the main issue is that it needs to connect to the net through our
screwed up Massey proxy in the first place ... :-/
Anyone else using APT proxies?
