Thanks for all the info, folks.
Jijdo sounds like a nice tool. I went through enough pain some years back
with the first version of Debian's ISO building tool (which may well have
been the first version of Jijdo, for all I can recall...) to scare me away
from such things, but perhaps it's time to look into it again.
The nice people at Citylink have removed the RC isos from the gutsy
directory, presumably in preparation of the final release.

We've just done a big round of hardware upgrades at work (we're now 60%
Linux desktops and servers, 40% Apple desktops, and 0% anything else), so
I'm farming out the old gear to friends and relatives -- Darik's Boot n'
Nuke (http://dban.sourceforge.net/), followed by brand new Gutsy
installations.
It'll be a long weekend in more ways than one, but great to spread some
Linux action around...
