[nzlug] 32bit vs 64bit speed/performance

VMWare (at least Server) definitely works on 64bit.

I ran it on an Intel Core2Duo Gentoo box, compiled as a 64bit machine 
(by accident) and it just worked fine - absolutely no hassles, as I 
didn't even realise it was running 64bit until about a month after I had 
set the box up.
