[nzlug] International traffic really slow

Hi NZLUG,

Has anyone else noticed that International traffic, during peak times (5pm - 1 
am), has got much slower than it was about 6 months ago.

Recently, it's been getting to the stage where it's ridiculous. I've got quick 
national traffic; around 700KB/s download), but international is more like 
40KB/s.  It was at about 60KB/s about 2 months ago.  During the non peak 
times, like at 6am, international is still about 300KB/s download.

I am using World-net as my ISP.  I've heard that TelstraClear customers don't 
seem to have this problem as much, but I am interested to know if anyone else 
in Auckland, using home ASDL, is having speed issues?
