Looking into ye olde laptoppee issue - it occurred to me that there are
people "refurbishing" second hand laptops. Typically, this involves just
adding a new licence as the old one is often no longer transferrable.

These people seem to be making their money, primarily, from the HW end,
adding the software under a perceived "added value". This would mean
that they have access to cheap laptops without windows - indeed, it
would be counter to the EULA to onsell some of these machines with
windows still onboard.

The downside is that old lappys are often thrashed. But it looks great
for students and the kiddies.

I'm gonna compile a list and feel these guys out as I find them, if it
still seems like a good idea.
