[nzlug] Spurious bounce messages

Two emails I received today are apparently bounce messages supposedly from

host ns.satlan.com[202.27.219.1] said: 550 5.1.1

One contained an attachment

Nove..r 77% OFF.eml

and the other

Oct...r 72% OFF.eml


I don't recognise the names of the supposed recipients, and I certainly didn't send anything to either.
Is this just another clever spam disguise or has my system been compromised in some way?
I am running Thunderbird using POP3 dialup on Xubuntu 7.10.
