How come, this doesn't surprise me ...?

Anyway, the complexity in Web Services - AFAIK - are (partly) a result of M$ 
saying, that they should be defined by tools, not people. And they want to 
make/sell these tools. Now they're rowing around in a different direction? 
Mad world ... :-/
