Ubuntu 7.04 has some form of "import your Windows details" tool during the installation ... I've never had any Windows partitions to see if it works :-) but it sounds like it's what you need. Probably test by duplicating their windows data onto another disk, then try to install Ubuntu over the copy, see what gets transferred ... -jim
