[nzlug] Change Mount Timeout Limit

I've got a (weird) issue that I would like to try and fix (if possible).
I've got a server with an external USB HDD connected to it which I'm
sharing via NFS. It all works fine. The HDD will power down when not
in use (hardware implementation) which is all fine too.
The problem arises when I NFS mount the drive from the server to my
desktop PC. As the drive re-powers back up, mount will try 3 times
before it successfully mounts the drive on the desktop. Occasionally it
will fail, and not mount at all onto the desktop.
Is there anyway I can change the timeout limit for this one particular
mount point (auto mounted in the fstab file). I would like to set it to
a greater level so that I can ensure that it actually does mount (even
if it has to retry) rather than the occasional not mounting at all.
Thanks,
Andrew
