[nzlug] Email message issue

Hi,

My setup is Kubuntu Edgy, running postfix, procmail, getmail, bincimap
(I can advise versions if relevant).

Also running is apache2, PHP5 and MySQL 5.0.24a-Debian_9-log.

The problem I have seems to show up in Squirrelmail (either stable
versions or CVS snapshots).

Some new messages are displayed with no 'From' and no 'Subject'. If I
log out then in they generally revert to showing the relevant correct
information.

If I use Thunderbird as the client the new messages are fine, and if I
view the messages while still on my ISP's server via 'their'
Squirrelmail setup they are fine as well.

I have had 1 message on Claws Mail where this has occurred, but it
never corrected itself, otherwise no problems.

I used Roundcubmail for a bit as well but it started to sometimes show
message headers, not bodies in the main display (this maybe totally
unrelated to this issue).

Could this be a PHP5 issue (just have a feeling it could be this - no
real reason why)? Would it worth reverting to PHP4?

Any pointers would be good.
