I saw a computer magazine that advertised "Hot Tips" on the cover, and
inside it had articles with hot tips for XP, Vista and Ubuntu.
Actually, this sort of thing seems common for the computer magazines
from across the Tasman. NZ mags are very Redmond-centric IMHO.

As for the plethora of distros, Ubuntu seems to be the home user distro du jour.
