It's good advocacy to refer to Microsoft as "Microsoft" or "MS", and not M$.
Same goes for any other competitor.  Don't give them fodder to think of you
as childish or name-calling.

Remember also that Dell are not a monopolist, and they are under no
obligation to sell you something they don't want to.  You get more flies
with honey, etc. It's happening in the US so it might filter through here,
but don't create an environment where a Dell NZ staff member looks at this
mailing list, says "What a bunch of zealots", and decides not to do what you
want.
