I've noticed that these refunds seem to cover the OS but not the bundled
software. The DELL/Ubuntu boxes are US$50 cheaper than the win boxes (of
the same name). But, these are less functional. What if you bought a box
that was bundled with Office too... wouldn't that be a bigger refund?
Those DELL boxes are not *just* windows.
Anyway, I've heard that there is some policy now that the refund is US$5
or something (in that country).

That should be interesting... but I won't hold my breath.
Any Consumer subscribers out there? Isn't it time Consumer Magazine did
a comparison?
