[nzlug] DSE Skype phone buttons

I have just bought a USB Skype phone from Dick Smith. It is a XH7170 and
can be seen here:

It works fine under Ubuntu Edgy straight out of the box except that the
buttons don't work at all. I have to use the mouse to control the call.
The keys beep but nothing else. Has anyone any ideas?
